Metal Materia 2025: Pieffe Disegni joins Piacenza’s mechanical engineering excellence to design the future of the sector

An event born from the territory, for the territory. An opportunity to compare notes, share experience, collaborate. A concrete chance to build tailored answers to the constantly evolving challenges facing the manufacturing industry. On October 15 and 16, 2025, Pieffe Disegni will be among the protagonists of Metal Materia, the new exhibition-conference dedicated to the metalworking sector, hosted by Piacenza Expo.

This will be far more than simple participation in a trade fair: from the earliest planning stages, in fact, the Pieffe Disegni team chose to take an active role, joining the technical committee that shaped the event. A choice that reflects the spirit with which we have approached every initiative for 25 years: sharing expertise, thinking at the level of the whole supply chain, and a concrete commitment to promoting the Piacenza mechatronics district, a true excellence of Made in Italy.

A project built from the ground up

“I gladly accepted the invitation to join the technical working group that helped define Metal Materia,” explains Massimo Paraboschi, founder of Pieffe Disegni, “because I deeply believe in the ability of companies in this territory to work as a system. We have always supported the potential of the Piacenza production district, even when that meant experimenting with new formulas, such as the first Italian metalworking business network.”

It’s precisely this collaborative approach, rooted in years of experience, that guided Pieffe Disegni in helping bring Metal Materia to life — an event that aims to become a point of reference for advanced mechanical engineering, placing quality, specialization and the integration of expertise at its core.

A format that combines exhibition and dialogue

Metal Materia sets itself apart from traditional trade fairs through its exhibition-conference format, which pairs exhibition space with in-depth technical sessions, round tables, and case studies. A dynamic setting, designed to encourage dialogue between companies, suppliers and clients, and also to foster the exchange of know-how among industry professionals.

“It will be an important opportunity to stay up to date and compare notes, including with potential competitors,” continues Marco Saltarelli, partner at the Pieffe Disegni mechanical design studio. “This kind of event isn’t just about promoting products or services: it creates the conditions to analyze emerging trends together, discuss concrete solutions and, hopefully, start to build new paths of collaboration and networks of relationships that connect the specialist expertise of many different but complementary companies.”

Not by chance, the Pieffe Disegni technical team will be among the speakers at a conference set to be one of the central moments of the event: together with other companies from the supply chain, they will present a case study illustrating the entire transformation process, from design through to the production of a prototype, highlighting the added value of vertically integrated expertise.

A stand where the project takes shape

Visitors to Metal Materia will also have the chance to meet Pieffe Disegni’s designers at the company stand. No “special effects” — just the most authentic and useful thing there is: the chance to talk directly with our technical team about needs, ideas and opportunities related to upgrading the machines at the heart of production processes.

It will be a moment of open listening and dialogue, where every visitor can bring the challenges their production faces day to day and begin exploring, together with the Pieffe Disegni technical team, the most suitable solutions to overcome them, through customized, sustainable approaches to the development and growth of their business.

An open invitation to dialogue

By taking part in Metal Materia, Pieffe Disegni confirms its commitment not only to mechanical design, but also to building a shared, continuously evolving technical culture — a commitment fueled by dialogue, direct relationships, and collaboration among industry players.

📌 Save the date: we look forward to seeing you on October 15 and 16, 2025 at Piacenza Expo, to meet in person, compare notes and build new solutions together.

Metal Materia is far more than a trade fair: it’s an opportunity to discover, share and design the future of mechanical engineering, starting from our own territory.
