Rethinking an existing machine to make it more efficient, precise, and fast: the new design challenge that involved a joint collaboration with Tecmu Automazione to meet the demand of an international leader in its sector, was brought into operation a few weeks ago and is already working at full speed. Here's how it works!
Jobs Automazione Spa's request was clear: to automate the pallet change in a large milling machine, also used in the aerospace sector. In a constant discussion with Dante Agosti, Technical Director of the Piacenza company, we have designed a rotary table capable of ensuring top-level performance in terms of torque and stiffness, while maintaining extremely compact dimensions. The result is the TRT1000 milling machine, which has been in operation for a few weeks now.
Our industrial design studio, Pieffe Disegni, turns 20 on July 17, 2020. Step by step, it has grown, daring to question itself and even deal with design challenges that it had never experienced. We wish to thank everyone who helped write such a beautiful and important story.
Imagining machines that have yet to exist which will improve production processes' performance time, precision results, and worker safety: countless companies present us with this challenge. Our most recent commitments are leading us to further refine our expertise in the world of drilling and anthropomorphic robot development
A mechanical design of an electric motor based on specific yacht needs, calculating the correct sizing of mechanical parts and provide for FEM analyses: another design challenge won by Pieffe Disegni!
Our staff has been involved in the construction of a very complex industrial automation project for a top priority customer in the transportation sector. The customer's goal is complete automation by turning to the full potential of robotics for one of their most frequent production processes
One of our most important customers presented to us a need to have a design for a versatile machine for its industry; a machine that was able to perform both pure water and abrasive cutting with variable thicknesses that can reach up to 400 mm!
One of our customers asked us to design and develop a hybrid between a vertical lathe and a transfer machine. This hybrid machine project will be completed by June 2019.
